Kween is the Executive Director for the Guelph Black Heritage Society. Kween was one of leaders for the first ever protest in support of the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement in Guelph in June 2020 which allowed more advancement in anti-racism and diversity awareness. The goals of The Kween Company are mandated to ensure support and guidance to the BIPOC community. Now is not the time to get complacent. We must continuously work towards being anti-racist, call out racism, and take risks without unearned benefits.

 

Kween is the award winner of the YMCA Women of Distinction 2021, nominee for Women of Inspiration 2021 and nominee for RBC's Women of Influence 2021.
